We're not just teaching kids how to fly drones — we're preparing them for the future.
First Flight emerged from a simple premise: learning becomes more engaging when aviation is involved. What started as a passion project has grown into a nationwide initiative to help young people connect with STEM concepts interactively. From critical thinking and teamwork to creativity and innovation, drone education develops the competencies kids carry into careers in engineering, technology, piloting, and filmmaking.

The Lift-Off® drone kit started as a way to make engineering feel approachable — tool-free assembly, crash-proof prop guards, and a curriculum that scales with the pilot. Today, it's a STEM platform empowering young innovators in classrooms, clubs, and at kitchen tables across the country.
